HOT, HUMID, STICKY!!! It's Summer again, and maybe a great time to host your special event. The summer season has become a less desirable time for many people to host events in south Florida. Due to temperature, humidity, rain and the threat of seasonal severe storms, many people have opted to plan celebrations between late October through June. However, industry wide, due to this seasonal event planning, having a last minute event or planning your event during the summer months have afforded people advantages in pricing and availability. At Elegant Occasions Event Professionals, Forte Entertainment and E Productions (all divisions of EOEP) have implemented special rates for events that take place during the summer, including special rates and other incentives. Whether you are planning a wedding, bar mitzvah, commitment ceremony, corporate event, or simple home gathering, we are here to help. Our office is staffed with some of the most knowledgeable experts in photography, videography, disc jockey, band, chamber players, ceremony officiating, invitations, venue selection, and event planning in the Broward, Miami Dade, and Palm Beach county areas. We will be happy to provide honest and knowledgeable advice about anything to do with a formal event.

As a former Event Coordinator, I will be happy to give you the "inside information" on any topic that concerns you on your special day whether it involves or company or not. I look forward to making your day a little easier.

Bridal Show Boca/ Deerfield Hilton

It was great seeing everyone at the bridal show today. We would like to thank everyone who stepped by our booth. Those that decided to put their date on hold today, congratulations, that will be the last time we are doing that show special.

We will have a new show special at the Signature Grand on Tuesday where we will be on stage in the main room and it is off to New Jersey on Wednesday.

Jackie & Gino !!!

I would like to congratulate Jackie and Gino Di piazza on their wedding this weekend. It was another of Elegant Occasions' successful weddings. Everyhting was beautiful. From the wedding at Coral Gables Congregational Chruch to the celebration at Jungle Island on Miami Beach. The whole team did a great job! (2 Photographers, 2 Videographers, DJ, MC, and a Sax player). On behalf of us all at EOEP: Congratulations! We'll see after the honeymoon when you come in for your album.

New Website

Well we are FINALLY here. We have launched our new eoep site today. Although a work in progress and still to be updated, we just could not wait any longer. To come on our site: A tour of our main office, specialty galleries including South Florida weddings New Jersey Weddings New York Weddings Naples and Palm beach weddings along with Boca Raton and Destination Weddings. Lots of pictures and video to come with specialties in photojournalistic and candid pictures. Bonnet House

We had a fabolous wedding this weekend. Our team of photogrphers, videographers, DJ and MC rocked the house. We were at the Bonnet House in Fort Lauderdale, it is beautiful. Looking foward to visit again.

Taking steps

My 14 month old son is starting to take steps. He needs a hand, but he is working hard. I can't wait tell he is running around (some say WAIT!).

I'm Elliot Valentin, one of the Event Specialist here at EOEP. I have been a DJ since about 1989 and working in this industry since 1992. I am at your service for any questions, or help. I enjoy all aspects of event production; from entertianing as an MC or DJ to helping in the design of decor lighting and themed events. I look forward to you event!

Bill Crane - Who I am

Hey!!! This is my first blog ever! What do I do??? Well let me tell you about myself...

As an event specialist my goal is to help the host of each event to customize their services and get the best value possible from their budget using our top of the line, in house services.
In addition to helping hosts plan events, I also perform wedding ceremonies and entertain as a strolling magician/mentalist.

Kaitlyn Is 6

Owner Wayne Labush just celebrated his daughters 6th birthday. Sunday was magic, face painting, bounce house and of course one of our DJ systems playing nothing but High School Musical and Hana Montana.

Bryan Hemedinger at Photography Convetion

Went to Las Vegas to WPPI (wedding portrait photographers international) convention. It was great seeing all the new techniques and equipment. Just could not get enough of the seminars, started at 7am and stopped at 10pm, tired, tired, tired. It was great to share information with some of our colleagues and can not wait to share the information with our entire team. Think we may even change some of our production Techniques. Nice to be back and see my wife and daughter. I'll be taking off this weekend from events but need to chaperon my daughters class to Universal Studios. Will post pictures soon.
